Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

Cream together:

• 2 c. butter, softened
• 2 c. sugar
• 2 c. brown sugar

Add and mix in:

• 4 eggs
• 2 tsp. vanilla

Sift together, mix in:

• 3 c. flour
• 2 tsp. salt
• 2 tsp. baking soda

Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350. for 5-8 minutes (Don't Over Bake!)

For variety, add any combination of:

• 2 c. chopped walnuts 
• 2 c. chocolate chips
• 2 c. gumdrops 
• 2 c. raisins
• 2 c. coconut
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
